Become an engineer

INSA Lyon is authorized to grant an engineering diploma via continuing education in the "mechanical engineering and design", "electrical engineering" and "civil and urban engineering" branches.

These training courses are intended for holders of a university technology diploma, who have at least three years professional experience and who want to obtain an engineering diploma.

After foundation studies, a preparatory cycle of one year part time, candidates are admitted into the area of study and take two years training, in a specific group or, partially, with other students in the year. They receive the same diploma as students with normal student status.

This access route to a diploma is supported by the continuing education fund.
